Temporary Customer Service Advisor

About the Role:
Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high-energy environment while delivering exceptional service to valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and live chat in a professional and timely manner, ensuring alignment with FMCG industry standards.

  • Resolving product-related complaints and issues effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Processing orders, returns, and refunds accurately, keeping in mind the rapid turnover of FMCG products.

  • Providing detailed product information and troubleshooting common queries related to FMCG items.

  • Recording and updating customer information on CRM systems, ensuring accuracy for supply chain and distribution processes.

  • Collaborating with team members to meet service level agreements and targets in a dynamic FMCG environment.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic FMCG environment. While prior customer service experience, particularly in FMCG, is advantageous, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of CRM systems.

  • Familiarity with FMCG products and services is a plus.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to commit to the temporary duration of the role.

  • A proactive attitude and a genuine passion for helping customers.
