Job Description
Job Title: Governance PA (12-Month FTC)
Location: Derby but the role will be remote working with the need to attend up to 2 in person meetings a month.
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)
My client a leading membership organisation based in Derby, dedicated to providing exceptional services and support to our memberss is looking to recruit a governannce PA to join their business on an FTC.
They are seeking a highly organised, reliable and proactive Governance PA to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our governance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our governance processes and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the governance team, including diary management, meeting coordination, and minute-taking.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of board and committee papers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to governance activities.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for governance meetings and events.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support the governance team in the implementation of policies and procedures.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a PA or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of governance processes and best practices is desirable.

- Discreet and trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
