Front of House Coordinator

Nottingham City Centre

Full Time

Salary up to £26,000 (dependent on experience)

Temporary - 6 Months FTC

Macildowie are excited to be working alongside a company based in Nottingham city centre. The organisation are actively seeking a well organised and switched on individual with a passion for customer service to join the team as a Front of house Coordinator to support the business.

As a leading national firm, this business is committed to delivering exceptional client service, and our Front of House team plays a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our clients, visitors, and staff.

This is a temporary, full-time position working Monday to Friday with 37.5 hours a week core office hours. This position will be a fixed term contract of 6 months and the position will be fully on site.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic and providing a first-class experience.
  • Efficiently manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Handle general inquiries and provide information as needed.
  • Organise and coordinate meeting room bookings. Ensure meeting spaces are set up and equipped with necessary resources.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments, including handling incoming and outgoing mail, managing deliveries, and assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
  • Uphold the highest standards of client service by anticipating and meeting the needs of clients and visitors.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the firm.
  • Overseeing the client suite and FOH team in the absence of the FOH Manager.
  • Keeping up to date with tech developments and customer service delivery in the industry and share ideas with the FOH Manager with an aim to incorporate them into the current offering and continuously improve the FOH service.

The successful candidate

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills written and verbally.
  • Strong organisational skills with a great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn, flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in a front of house or reception role.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
