Job Description

Macildowie are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to join a well established business as a QSE Coordinator. In this vital role, you will be a cornerstone of the companies commitment to quality, safety, and environmental compliance. Your contributions will help shape processes, relationships, and training initiatives, ensuring that the company operates in accordance with the highest standards

£28,000 - £45,000 DOE | Hybrid - 2 Days From Home | Permanent | Full time | Monday - Friday | 08:00 - 16:00

Role:

  • Develop and implement rigorous selection, desktop auditing, and continuous improvement processes to guarantee compliance.
  • Establish robust control over current and new activities and processes, supported by effective documentation.
  • Drive adherence to ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, and BRC standards throughout our business operations.
  • Provide valuable support for Duty-of-care compliance site audits.
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers and vendors to enhance our network.
  • Innovate by creating new solutions and refining existing processes.
  • Collaborate on the design, planning, and delivery of training to our internal team and customers.



The ideal candidate will embody the following attributes:

  • A preferred understanding of contemporary Health & Safety Compliance Obligations.
  • A preferred understanding of prevailing Environmental Compliance Obligations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and presentation prowess.
  • A positive attitude coupled with robust communication skills.
  • Exemplary accuracy, systematic thinking, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in IT applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • A "Can-Do" spirit, flexibility, and an aptitude for collaborative teamwork.
  • Possession of a full driving license.
  • Willingness to undertake short-term travel assignments.
  • Some level of commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Kaizen business processes (continuous improvement).
  • Experience in project management.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Potential and ambition to ascend to a more senior specialist role.
  • Previous work experience is advantageous but not obligatory.
