About the Role as Junior Product Consultant:

  • As a Junior Product Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of innovative software solutions
  • You'll work closely with the Senior Product Consultant and collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver value-adding features.
  • This role is based in Nottingham, with a hybrid working policy in place.
  • After completing induction and training, you'll attend the office regularly to collaborate with the team.

As the Junior Product Consultant your responsibilities will mainly cover 4 core pillars

Product Value:

  • Collaborate with the Product Consultants to understand user needs, define market/user segments, and create personas.
  • Map user journeys and feature backbones to maximise product value.
  • Provide insights into feature requirements to ensure current and future product capabilities meet user needs.

Product Planning & Design:

  • Assist in gathering requirements, process mapping, and introducing new features or products.
  • Manage and prioritise backlogs of work in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Support the design and planning of software, including database design, process flow charts, and screen layouts.

Product Development & Configuration:

  • Configure the platform, create instances or demos for clients, and extend functionality for existing users.
  • Design software processes using a no-code platform to address logical challenges.
  • Track progress and generate reports using Azure DevOps.

Product Support:

  • Act as an expert on the platform, providing support and resolving queries.
  • Guide clients through the installation and adoption of products.
  • Assist with testing, bug reporting, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and support teams to deliver product communications.

What you'll bring as the Junior Product Consultant:

  • Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.
  • Strong PC skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Desirable: A technical background (e.g., a degree) is advantageous but not essential.
