Power Platform Developer

  • Salary £37,000 - £47,000 depending on experience
  • Permanent
  • Remote role, requires attendance of the office in Peterborough between once and twice a month

Our client is seeking a Power Platform Developer to join their growing team in a fully remote role. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key part in developing and maintaining Power Platform solutions, with a focus on Power BI, Power Automate work-flows, and Power Apps.

Power Platform Developer Role Overview:

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and managing Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable business insights. You'll also develop and implement Power Automate work-flows and Power Apps to improve processes, while ensuring data quality and governance throughout the platform.

Key Responsibilities of the Power Platform Developer:

  • Design and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to drive business insights.
  • Develop and optimise Power Automate work-flows for greater efficiency.
  • Create Power Apps to meet various business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Manage product life-cycle processes for Power Platform projects, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Ensure data integrity through effective data governance practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest Power Platform features and tools, continuously identifying areas for improvement.

As the Power Platform Developer you will demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps development.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and SQL databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for data visualisation.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage projects independently.

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with SharePoint, Dataverse, and product life-cycle management processes.
