    Key Responsibilities

    In this role, you will:

    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and associated processes.
    • Resolve invoice queries efficiently, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth payment workflows.
    • Manage and report cash collections, ensuring adherence to financial deadlines.
    • Maintain and reconcile control accounts and sub-ledgers to ensure accuracy.
    • Oversee ERP system data management, including customer accounts and credit terms.
    • Support internal and external audits.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the finance department.
    • Provide holiday/absence cover for team members and support ad-hoc projects as required.

    You will help support in our Accounts Payable operation and you will report into the Team Leader. You will be part of the team responsible for the day-to-day running of the area to ensure a high accuracy of work is delivered, as well as supporting the business in delivering high profile projects and managing a growing supplier base of over 3,500 active suppliers.

    This is a Temporary role to provide support for 2 months, there is the possibility of an extension as well.

    • At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.
    • A vocational qualification in Accounting/Finance, with a strong foundation in English and Maths.
    • The ability to drive success in credit control, even when things are shifting economically.
    • Confidence in building relationships both inside and outside the business.
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
    • Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and how it influences collections.
    • Fluent in the local language, plus comfortable using accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
