Interim Year-End Closure Accountant

Location: North West
Employment Type: Interim / Temporary
Duration: 6 Months
Salary: 500/day - 700/day

Macildowie are currently working with a council in the North West of England who are seeking an experienced Interim Year-End Closure Accountant to support their finance team during a critical period.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end financial statements and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Reconcile accounts and ensure data accuracy
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Experience in year-end financial closure for a Council
